Its the most wonderful time of the year!!!

Always late to the party, but here I am! Ready to decorate and celebrate the last quarter of the year. To be honest, I started in September and I’m not ashamed to say that. I was ready for summer and 2020 to be done! Can we get a ff button to press or something?

But before we go pressing any buttons can we say a little hallelujah that the heat is leaving and pretty soon we can go back to leggings and hoodies? I enjoy being able to hang out in a swimming pool when available but truth be told my haunting grounds are curled up on the couch with a book or binge watching a show while baking pumpkin bread.

Its is true, however that I’m always late to things. I never get into the hottest shows until they are practically on their last season and I never arrive early to a party. (I’m sorry, please still invite me!!)

I’ve been vibing on writing spooky stories specifically for Halloween and I want to make my Mesilla Valley trilogy more like a quintet. Is that the right word? So far I have Her Kids, Witchscape and now available, Hunting Grounds: Nido de Lechuzas.

While Witchscape is not a stand alone, it is part of my Southern Coven Series. I am currently finishing the second novel in the three part series. Real life has poked its head in and has given me a struggle that I know I have to fight! So I’m hoping to have it done and ready on Kindle by Thanksgiving. Hold me to it, I need the pressure folks!

Most of my spooky decorations are up. I watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! this afternoon and today my beautiful, custom made witch hat arrived from Evercrumbly and Witch. I promise to post a photo once I decide how I will stylize it and how in the world can I get my black cat, Yara to stay in the picture??

There will be a second full moon on Halloween. Even more reason to be excited for the most wonderful night all year! I look forward to it and to writing to you once more!

Cheers!
